  1. hi, i am a staff nurse in the nhs.I am very interested in crps.My 14 year old daughter and had this condition since she was 9.she has been fortunate that she has had episodes of being fully mobile but has been very affected to the extent she was hospitalised needing full nursing care for several months,I am eager to learn as much as i can to help her and others suffering from this awfull syndrome.

    • Dear Suzi,
Thanks for your message. I’m sorry to hear about your daughter. CRPS is indeed a terrible condition. Fortunately we are learning much more about the mechanisms and can therefore be wiser and more targeted in the treatment. The prime example is the Graded Motor Imagery programme – http://www.specialistpainphysio.com/resources/graded-motor-imagery/
At the moment I am providing information via this blog and my main website at http://www.specialistpainphysio.com
In terms of talks and courses I am giving the former to various groups that have asked me to speak about pain and modern treatment of conditions such as CRPS. I’m afraid that I am not currently running any courses due to a high workload simply not allowing me time to organise such an event. There will be courses in the future but I cannot put a date on this at the moment contrary to the page on the site (to be updated).
If you have any specific questions please feel free to email me.
      Yours
      Richmond
